I wrote this for my school and thought I could also post it here:
To me, champions are people who stick up for themselves and are proud of who they are. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. True champions work to improve their weaknesses rather than feeling sorry for themselves. Champions aren’t perfect. Nobody is. However, champions are the best they can be. No matter the challenges, champions always look forward. Champions always work toward new goals. Anyone can be a champion. They just have to believe.
A person who has inspired me to become a champion is my mom. She supports of all my decisions. She sees me through ups and downs and teaches me what it means to be a champion. My mom shows me that, in life, it’s important to believe in yourself. For inspiring me to speak my mind, I want to thank my mom. She is a champion. She is my champion.
Attending this school taught me how important it is to express myself and speak what I believe. I am who I am. I’m not perfect, but I am a champion. I’m proud of who I am and what I can do. Someday, I hope to inspire kids to become champions. I hope people will look at me and see a champion. I believe I can make a difference in this world. We all can, one champion at a time.
